The Research Of Remote Environmental Monitoring System Based On LabVIEW

This paper, taking LabVIEW software as the development platform, choose manyhardwares including suitable sensors and a data acquisition card to achieve remoteenvironmental monitoring system of the according to actual monitoring of the environment.The remote environmental monitoring system has many functions, including real-time dataacquisition, real-time displaying, processing, analyzing, and storing of the environmentalparameters, and remote monitoring. The system includes hardware and software parts. On thehardware side, using the data acquisition card PCI-6251, the monitoring system collect outputsignal from the temperature and humidity sensor AMT2001 and gas CDM4161 CO2testedconcentration module and convert them into digital signals. On the software side, in order toachieve the function of real-time collection, handling, recording, and storing for temperature,humidity and concentration of CO2, this paper uses the front panel and block diagramprogramming by LabVIEW8.6 software; With the shared variable technology through theInternet, this paper achieve the sharing and publishing of data and complete remotemonitoring system.Debugging and experiments to prove: the monitoring system can meet the requirementsof environmental monitoring. With good scalability and practical advantages, the systemprove a useful exploration of the practical application of virtual instrument technology.
