TD-LTE is TDD version of LTE (Long Term Evolution) technology, the advanced technology with higher data rates, spectrum efficiency and user throughput. ITU has basically decided that LTE is the fourth generation mobile communication (4G) international standard is one of the two candidates. China Mobile for TD-LTE pilot test is positive, following the 6+1 cities in China on a TD-LTE test, China Mobile also plans on August 7 new cities in the country organized a large-scale TD-LTE test network pre-commercial tests.New network construction need for reliable network planning and design, network simulation technology as a new network planning and design technologies, planning and design can provide objective and reliable quantitative basis, can reduce the network construction period, to improve decision-making network construction science, reduce the network construction investment risk, become an integral part of network planning and design.The main content of this article can be divided into the following sections.The first part reviews the cellular mobile communication system development process, pointing out that the TD-LTE technology development in mobile communications and position coordinates, the relative emphasis of its TD-SCDMA echnology to achieve a significant improvement, and then elaborate network planning simulation for the new network construction importance.The second part introduces the TD-LTE network architecture and radio interface protocols, and through the TD-LTE technology specifications and key technologies of the knowledge to explain the TD-LTE and TD-SCDMA the differences and connections.The third section presents in order to better achieve the TD-LTE technology indicators, the need for transmission network planning model calibrated to predict the results of common channel coverage and throughput results closer to the actual test value.The Fourth section presents the simulation process and the parameters in TD-LTE algorithm. Hefei and map information using the base station, through the propagation model TD-LTE correction coverage prediction, the strongest RSRP, fully/loaded of SINR parameters such as no-load index analysis, hoping the simulation of TD-LTE will offer some suggestions.
