Access network management often lags behind network construction and market demand, good management is not only to improve service quality and operational efficiency of the network, can also reduce costs, reduce the number of failures and downtime, thus increasing operational competitiveness. At present, because of the different networked devices, network management systems of different manufacturers, making it difficult to unify management. To provide more effective, reliable network communication services, establishing a unified comprehensive access network management system has become the necessary measures.Access network management is a DSLAM, community LAN, PON, and WLAN’s integrated network management system, is to improve the operation and maintenance of access network level and also important means of business management.This article combined China Unicom OSS-specification of access network integrated management system, Datang technology programme proposals as well as the actual problems in-building integrated network management system. Describing access network design scheme of integrated network management system, main contents include the following:(1) analysis of the basic status of broadband network in Inner Mongolia, including topology analysis and the resulting network management issues, and describes the necessity of construction of integrated network management system and building principles.(2) Describe the deployment of integrated access network management system, and the scope of management. Explain the functions of the system, such as topology management, configuration management, fault management. (3) Based on the reliability, maintainability and scalability, proposed software implementations of access network management platform, including overall design solutions, systems acquisition programme, system function programme, system interface programmes.(4) After analysis the Inner Mongolia’s network bandwidth requirements, the article shows the specific scheme of network systems, server systems, and storage system.
