Internet industry had experienced technology-oriented era and content-oriented era, in the new turn of Experience Economy, now the idea of“User-Centered”becomes the new focus point and“User Experience”is the key to win in the diversified competition of web products. In this trend, academic and business people, they are concerning on the topic of“User Experience Design and Evaluation”. Effective user experience evaluation helps designer in truly understanding user’s feeling when using the product, it also contributes to a more accurate product developing process, saves budget and enhances enterprise value. This study is centered around the "User Experience Evaluation" of web products.Firstly, the study begins with the summary of previous researches on user experience evaluation and relative cases from enterprises’practice, and sums up the factors, models and methods used for user experience evaluation. The study finds that the problems in the evaluation process mainly focus on aspects such as indicator selection, task method selection, user selection and data processing. Secondly, according to the defects, the study explores solutions and proposes the idea of introducing motivation study into user experience evaluation. Thirdly, based on the motivation studies in general psychology and consumer psychology, by practicing and comparing different methods of motivation study, this study picks up the most suitable method and explains why and how motivation study can benefit user experience evaluation in different stages. Finally, a case study on the evaluation of Q-Zone Client Center proves the effectiveness of the method.The innovation point: 1.It imports motivation study in user experience evaluation according the methods and processes of web product’s user experience evaluation in China. 2. It proposes motivation study based on user group according to Chinese web products. 3. It sums up the existing evaluation process and combines the results of motivation study into evaluation planning and evaluation analysis. 4. Conducting expert evaluation before user evaluation. This enables Evaluator not to waste attention on those user experience problems that are already known.
