Information sharing and intercommunications have become the major topics in the field of logistics Informatization is presently facing. Through numerous years of cultivation and market operation, the modern logistics industry in China has greatly advanced and developed Informatization via its acknowledgement, popularization and usage. However, according to our economic development, such as the restructuring and optimization of corporate integration and logistics supply chain systems, higher demands are imposed on logistics carrier companies, especially third party warehouse and other Informatization system companies. This will require companies to be multifunctional and intensively transform their management styles so logistics information systems that are isolated can be integrated, to establish a solid external data interface, and to guarantee the provision of high quality logistics and information service so costs can be reduced.On the exact basis of this type of situation, this manuscript researches and analyzes the development and data interchange information technology of the Informatization of warehouse logistics companies. The establishment of a Web Service based warehouse logistics data interchange center is suggested to provide the ability to integrate, share and exchange heterogeneous data so a highly effective solution channel can be established for the internal and external data interchange of warehouse logistics companies. This work first introduces the language standardization of the data interchange XML medium and the method of realizing the data interchange with the Web Service technology. Through the analysis and selected research on the data interchange model, a three level structure model warehouse logistics data interchange center based on Web Service was designed; the realization and design principles of each of the modules were described in detail. At the same time, solutions to the data format, data mapping, multi-level data exchange and data exchange protocols for the establishment of the data interchange center was elaborated. The last part of this manuscript discusses the warehouse management system of teaching materials of a certain institution of high education in the southwest part of China. Taking zero-inventory as the goal for the management of the teaching materials, a data exchange center for the warehousing of teaching materials was developed and put in practice. Said exchange center employed an optimized process for the management of warehoused teaching materials as it resolved the problem of dissimilar data and inter-departmental data exchange and sharing of information. Consequently, the operating efficiency was increased and the expected costs outcome was decreased.
