Research Of Natural Gas Remote Monitoring System Based On GPRS

The research topic in this paper comes from the project of a city's gas transmission and distribution. To meet the demands of the project, a nature gas remote monitoring system is designed.Firstly, an analytical comparison of several commonly used communication modes of remote monitoring system is made in this paper. On considering the practical application of the project, the GPRS mode is chosen.Secondly, by analyzing the functional requirements of the project, we work out a systematic scheme. To realize the communication between the remote monitoring station and the operation monitoring center, communication protocols are designed, so are the corresponding coding and decoding programs.Then, the detailed design of the monitoring station, communication network and operation monitoring center are respectively given. According to the needs of different types of the monitoring station, different hardware and software configuration is designed. Communication interface software is developed in Delphi, realizing the response of the remote monitoring station to the communication instructions of operation monitoring center. For communication network, the principle of the GPRS DTU and the four networking modes of GPRS are described. Based on APN line networking mode, the communication network of the system is constructed by using GPRS DTU. The reliability and stability of the network is also studied. For operation monitoring center, the polling software is developed to poll the remote monitoring sub-stations. Meanwhile, monitoring software is developed in InTouch, realizing the functions such as data dynamic display, alarm, filing, and so on. To achieve data exchange between the polling software and the monitoring software, we also developed communication service software.Finally, we sum up this paper and put forward its further prospect.
