Cement industry is the important pillar industry in China’s infrastructure construction, every year our country needs a mass of high quality cements to guarantee the development of China’s infrastructure construction. Rotary kiln served as the important production equipment for cement raw material to cement clinker, which provide a good production environment for cement clinker processing.The cement clinker production process is very complicated, normally rotary kiln is divided into several technical areas according to the difference of temperatures which clinker produces in the rotary kiln, in order to accomplish different production needs.There are a lot of technological parameters need to be controlled in the process of production, such as temperature, pressure, etc. As we all know that the cement clinker is generated slowly under high temperature, so one of the most important parameters is temperature. It is visible that accurate measure and control the temperature in rotary kiln play an important role to the cement clinker quality of production, fuel consumption and equipment safe operation.Cement rotary kiln is large baroque equipment, it needs to keep rotating and also radiate outward high temperature when it’s working, which bring difficult to measure temperature in the rotary kiln. The paper brings forward a wireless temperature data acquisition system based on RF technology after take the comprehensive analysis of advantages and disadvantages of current rotary kiln temperature measurement methods. The system can effective overcome the faults of all kinds of current temperature measurement method, and it has some advantages, such as great flexible, high precision of temperature measurement, strong anti-interference ability, etc.This system is mainly used for measuring temperature of each productive technology belt within rotary kiln. And cooperate with PC to complete multipoint temperature monitoring in rotary kiln.This paper discussed design idea and implementation methods of the system, and analyzed the principle of constitution of each part circuit, and introduced detailed the design process of each module of system. The lower computer of the system are composed of wireless temperature collection and transmission wireless module and temperature receiving and display module, PC system is a temperature monitoring software, responsible for monitoring the temperature inside the rotary kiln. The temperature collection and transmission module uses thermocouples to detect temperature inside the stove, then amplify millivolt voltage signal and send the signal to microprocessor for processing and is converted into digital value, and measure the tempareture of DS18B20for cold junction compensation.and then the microprocessor control nRF2401RF chip send the temperature of thermocouple and cold end temperature to temperature receiving and display module. After the temperature receiving and display module received the data that from the send part, and then decoding the data by microprocessor, the decoded numerical temperature can be displayed in local display tube as well as send the temperature number to computer directly through RS232serial port. It could better display the temperature condition in the collection site by temperature monitoring software in the computer.This system has the very strong expansibility, only need to collocation with sensors of different function and the corresponding signal regulate circuit module can it realize all kinds of wireless data acquisition system. It can be widely used in small wireless data terminal, security fire alarm monitoring and so on. The system can be upgrading to a wireless communication network if take several computers connected through RS485or CAN bus, which will realize the host computer share data with other computers and make the system has a broad prospects.
