Wireless Sensor Network is a kind of application oriented network, routing protocol plays a key role in WSN. Because the sensor nodes is limited in terms of energy, So when we design the routing protocol, we should conside the node energy consumption. The LEACH protocol has an important position in WSN, it is the first use of the layered idea. Through the local computing, the LEACH protocol reduce the amount of data to the base station. So the LEACH protocol can effectively improve system lifetime. In this paper, a new routing procotol named LEACH-MH is put forward. Because the LEACH protocol is likely to happen blocking in large scale WSN. In LEACH-MH protocol, the paper proposes a way of solving the jamming, it is the multi-clustering in LEACH-MH. And we introduce the residual energy and the distance to BS. They can play the role of reducing energy consumption, while they can also achieve good performance in terms of system lifetime, latency and application-perceived quality.
