The power industry is the foundation of the national economy. Meanwhile, thephenomenon of great importance to power generation in China, contempt powersupply and ignore the electricity has been present. With the development of electroniccomputers and modern communication technology, especially after the1990s, thewave of the electric power industry reform was lifted in the world. But, in the mostregion of the country, especially the remote mountainous areas, people still rely onmanually to achieve the meter reading, failure to achieve automatic printout, query,statistics, failure analysis, and automatic roving alarm function. Manpower, material isundoubtedly a big waste, but also very prone to error. Through computer systems,Electricity consumption statistics and query, Systems equipment and componentperformance testing and fault diagnosis, will effectively guarantee the security of theelectricity transmission and saving human and material resources. Does not reuse themanpower to go door to door transcribe meter billing, This will bring huge benefits tothis community.In this paper, the problems of electricity power industry statistics, queries, powerequipment performance testing and fault diagnosis are analysis and research, Byproviding the tools and techniques, making better use of computer and network topromote the power systems information technology, thus saving manpower, resources,and improve the work efficiency of power industry, to support the rapid developmentof power industry.The main work content is the following:1. Introduces the research background and meaning, identify problems andexplore solutions to those problems;2. Given the idea of the overall design of the automatic data acquisition system,Include: the overall system structure, power data acquisition, data printout means,data query and statistical methods, failure analysis methods and automatic roving alarm technology program;3. Given the physical structure and composition, equipment selection programsand means of communication between the device of the automatic data acquisitionsystem, Include: a discrete data acquisition subsystem-precision sensors, the ADAMmodules, switch modules; a data processing subsystem-industrial control computerand microcomputers; a managed device and reference variable subsystem-powerdistribution system simulation screen; a power supply subsystem; and a RS485full-duplex asynchronous communication subsystem;4. Given the software design, workflow and interface effects of the automatic dataacquisition system, Include: The overall function of the process, data collection, datacalculation, system alarms, data display, data storage and printing;5. Finally, given the conclusions of the paper, to analyze the system design process,data algorithms, system reliability, security, and data processing, indicating that thesystem has technical advantages and competitiveness.In this paper the automatic data acquisition system is designed and implementedafter a comprehensive study of their respective areas of related products. Because it isthe engineering practice, therefore, the system structure and software design, take fullaccount of the cost factors, on the basis of meeting the accuracy of the dataacquisition and processing requirements, the cost of system is down to a reasonablerange. this paper focus on the development of practical, fast and accurate, hope to beable to provide a set of effective solutions and an application software for the futureelectric power data acquisition and processing.
