The Research Of Multi-functional Simulation Card Based On PCI Express

With the development of science and technology, The test usually needs to analyze alarge amount of data to achieve better results, but the choice of data transfer mode isbecoming the key point to experimental efficiency. As the third generate bus of computer, itssingle-channel transfer rate can reach 250MB/s and it can be easily connected with thecomputer. Therefore , the device which is based on PCI Express have emerged andsuccessfully used in national and civilian sectors.The thesis introduces a multi-functional simulation card based on PCI Express bus,which combines 1553B simulation with high-speed data reading. The 1553B interface modecan be easily configured to one of BC/RT/BM by host computer and simulate outer device totest specified device. The high-speed reading mode transfers data in outer video recorder tothe computer for analysis by LVDS interface. The thesis introduces how to use FPGA tocontrol 1553B protocol chip and LVDS serial and parallel portion conversion chip to realizefunction simulation and data transfer in details, and it mainly describes the whole process andway to realize PCI protocol by VHDL logic language. In addition，The article analysis thedefects of the Equipment of the past and researches the way to improve reliable of LVDSdata transfer and 1553B data transfer, and then analysis the degree during Mathematicalmodeling.Firstly the thesis analyzes the task combined with project background and technicalindexes and then develops a design programme . The whole design has been divided intothree parts: 1553B simulation module design, LVDS reading module design and PCI Expressinterface module design. Secondly, it introduces FPGA’s logic control to these three modules,then it describes the hardware circuit realization methods and notes of three modules. At Last, it satisfies technical index after debugging and passes performance test to verify the reliabilityand flexibility of the multi-function simulation card .
