With the unceasing development of computer technique, network technique and instrumentation technology, constructing the remote virtual instrument to realize the networked measurement and control has been an irresistible trend. The balance, as the most popular weighing equipment for mass of objects, has been widely used with many varieties. The electronic balance system and its intelligentized development can be further improved by introducing the concept of remote virtual instrument to the field of electronic balance.For the remote management system of electronic balance based on virtual instrument, regarding 210g/0.1mg as the electronic analytical balance hardware, this thesis designs and develops the remote management system software of electronic balance, to realize the networked measurement and control of electronic analytical balance.The main research content of this thesis and innovative work include as follow.(1) Put forward the design proposal for the remote management system of electronic balance based on virtual instrument. It summaries the features and current development of virtual instrument technology and remote virtual instrument technology, discusses the significance and main work of this thesis in allusion to the current development situation of electronic balance at home and abroad, and also systematically provides the overall design plan according to the functional requirements and performance indexes of electronic analytical balance.(2) Develop and manufacture the remote management system of electronic balance based on virtual instrument. From the hardware design to software design, it details the processes such as the set-up of system and software programming. On the hardware side, the model selection of hardware has been conducted according to the specific performance indexes in the project and it develops a kind of intelligentized electronic analytical balance, which regards MSP430F449 slnglechip as its core operation module and it has RS-232 SCI (serial communication interface), with a range of 210g and a minimum scale division of 0.1mg. On the software programming side, it specifically provides the hierarchical structural model of software function according to the demand analysis results of remote management system software of electronic balance. It also comes up with the modified B/S and C/S mixed type of architecture in allusion to the core content of "remote management". By comparing various implementation methods of remote virtual instrument, it concludes the optimized software design plan on the basis of AppletVIEW technology and DataSocket technology, and according to the main content of this plan, it introduces the implementation methods of functional modules in different parts of software detail by detail, and completes the research and development work of remote management system of electronic balance.(3) Conduct on-line debug on the 210g/0.1mg electronic analytical balance as well as its remote management system software. From the results of on-line debug, we can see that the hardware of electronic balance remote management system can meet the measurement and control demands of users, and its software has powerful networked function, which can make the user expediently conduct the monitoring work and data analysis on the electronic analytical balance whenever and wherever they want.
