Based On Agile IT Project Scope Management Process Research And Application

Products scope and working range are included in IT project management, whose scope changes necessarily because of its particularity. However, IT project management based on Agile Process can work availably which defines project scope and builds model in the design phase. Moreover, it enhances communication among stakeholders in order to verify project scope and control scope changes. To tell in detail, it ensures that project scope can be managed and controlled better via verified scope, and ensures variation under controllable via project scope variation, which also ensures products scope and working range conformably and can deliver correct IT product at last.In this paper, the theories of foundations and trend in development at home and abroad of project scope management and Agile Process are studied. Also, project scope management, Agile Process, Rational Unified Process, Microsoft Process are analyzed. Subsequently, IT project scope management model based on Agile Process (PSMAP) is proposed on the basis of modified IT project scope management definition model which uses Agile Process and varies previous project scope definition to answer IT project scope variation. PSMAP combines not only the essential theory of Agile Process but also the goal, values, principle of agile requirement modeling. On the premise of them, PSMAP is designed, which firstly adjusts the definition of products scope and working range, and then delivers verified products after designing continuous integration. As a whole, PSMAP belongs to agile modeling which can worker with Extreme Programming properly.At last, PSMAP is used to direct the Financial Budget Management System (FBMS), a real project. As a result, PSMAP resolves the problem of project scope validation controlling called big troubles that worries project group a lot. Therefore the practicability, rationality and correctness are proved by using PSMAP in the software development of FBMS.To sum up, project scope management is improved and software development period is reduced by using PSMAP which also depresses project cost and advances its productivity. Furthermore, PSMAP promotes the progress of agile software development methodology and makes up the deficiencies of project scope management in agile. In a word, a referenced model is offered which can improve the level of development to plenty of software companies.
