With promoting and accelerating the process of Chongqing tri-networksintegration, the competition between Chongqing Broadcasting Group and ChongqingTelecom has been heating up in the tri-networks integration business. In this contest,industry is generally pessimistic about the future of broadcasting system. This paperstudies the competitive advantage of Chongqing Broadcasting Group in the tri-networksintegration and proves Chongqing Broadcasting Group still has its own corecompetitiveness. The main aspects of the described as follows:1. The television mediais still the mainstream media, and the digit TV business of Chongqing CATV hasoccupied the highest penetration rate.2. Cable TV bandwidth advantage of ChongqingCATV well adapt the high-definition television business compared with the hard workof Chongqing Telecom in the same field. Therefore, high-definition TV services in thetri-networks integration is the trump card of Chongqing Broadcasting Group.3. Digitalradio broadcasting network CMMB is exclusive field in the tri-networks integration.Chongqing Telecom is very difficult technically to achieve low-cost broadcast.4.Thenext generation NGB TV&Radio networks in tri-networks integration is the corecompetitiveness in the future.5.Chongqing Broadcasting Group has the policyadvantage under the "Asymmetric regulation".6. Broadcasting system has thecomprehensive video information advantage.Due to the different business focus objectives and the diverse way of operate andinstitutional, the further study is that the Chongqing Broadcasting Group hasencountered the problems and difficulties in the tri-networks integration, and propose asolution method. Proceed from the following four aspects:1. Four Stations and districtintegration of wired network resources.2The slow process of the Chongqing DBVCbusiness.3. Tri-networks integration operations of Chongqing Broadcasting Group.4.The mutual benefit development and cooperation between Chongqing Broadcasting andChongqing Telecom. With the country’s tri-networks integration in full swing, it is botha challenge and an opportunity for Chongqing Broadcasting Group.The objectives ofthis study is to make some references for Chongqing Broadcasting Group to grasp itsadvantages, resolve difficulties and blaze the Chongqing way.
