In the case of country support the development of the merger of communication network, data network and cable network, the technologies of IPTV and Internet streaming media are gradually growing up, which allows users watching program not only through the traditional TV terminal, but also through the network, even can accomplish the personal setting. Overview, the signal convert interface for digital TV will have wide market prospects, the digital TV signal over IP is inevitable.TS stream is a MPEG-2 transport stream, which is widely used by current digital broadcasting industry. TS stream include compressed audio and video data, and some system information. The TS over IP technology become a necessity in current environment. ASI interface depends on its high transmission rate and reliability becomes the general TS stream interface. The focus of paper is implement the TS stream over ASI interface can transport on network based on FPGA.In this thesis, I mainly proposed a technology that TS over IP based on FPGA, FPGA can flexibly use the inner logic accomplish the design that can help users develop variety of digital interface. Altera Corporation provide the use of ASI IP core and TSE IP core, design the matching convert interface meet the requirements of digital television network, compared to the traditional ASIC design, FPGA design have shorter development cycle、lower development cost, and the circuit board integration and over performance is improved.The design of this system can achieve the data transmission over network, the selected PHY chip is 88E1111 with Gigabit speed, meet the requirements provided by TSE IP core standard. Through validation, the network sub-board communications meet the design requirements, low packet loss rate.
