The rise of energy acquisition and energy transportation brings new opportunitiesand challenges to IC industry. With consideration of dynamically variable energysupply of environment energy acquisition system, the concept of power-adaptive hasbeen proposed. It novelly models the supply and consumption of electronic system.Power-adaptive enhances the reliability and applicability of electronic system. Most ofthe embedded microprocessors which focus on mobility and portability are multi-coreprocessors. Thus, power consumption becomes the highlight of mobile devices.Power-adaptive system mainly focuses on real-time monitoring and control in order toachieve maximum system resource utilization.In this paper, we briefly introduce the development and current status ofpower-adaptive. Then we give the principle of the stream computation model and itsapplication in multi-core processors. Computationally intensively, parallelism andlocality of stream computation model make it suitable for high-performance processor.Focusing on stream architecture of stream-processor, the paper mainly concentrateson the task scheduling based on dynamically variable energy. We reallocate themulti-core tasks and adjust the frequency through the task-scheduling information. Onthis basis, we propose the design of multi-core task scheduling based on FFT streamcomputation.This paper also presents a solution of the multi-core processor applies to DE3FPGA which is provided by Altera Corporate. The solution is tested and verified bycorresponding with given environment and parameters. By comparing the result whichis obtained from the adaptive algorithm work in the FPGA with the implement, thecorrectness of the system is verified. In addition, the result obtained from FPGA whichis running adaptive algorithm shows that running time meets the system requirements,and the engineered practicability of adaptive technology is verified.
