A seemingly insignificant micro-blog spring into fame around the world in onenight, everyone is talking about it, and it quickly gets into the line of sight of people, butalso caused scholars passion. The emergence of micro-blog, which changes theinformation transmission mode, excites the citizen’s passion on the informationdissemination. Meanwhile, micro-blog also makes the traditional media have to seizethe micro-blog platform, makes use of the innate advantages of micro-blog to conductnews communication. From the major events such as Yihuang blood removed,Wenchuan earthquake, the riots in Xinjiang, Japanese Tsunami and other great events,we found that micro-blog play the key role in the spread of the news information.The integration of micro-blog and mobile phone perfectly display micro-blog "4A"feature that is anyone can publish anything at anywhere in anytime. Therefore, thisfeature apply to the journalism field can greatly improve the quality of newscommunication. Micro-blog communication spread as nuclear fission diffusion, largearea spread as viral and strong interaction with audience, all of these advantages areobvious and that traditional media can not match. At the same time, micro-blog’sextremely open communication platform and low threshold makes the emergence of alarge number of "Grassroots Journalists", for which specialized reporter is wellcompensated, but also is a big challenge.In the halo backside we should also see the negative factor that micro-blog bringsto news dissemination. The content of one micro-blog is restricted in140words, whichmakes the news report on micro-blog is lack of depth and breadth.
