Wireless Industrial Monitoring System Based On Zigbee

With the expansion of the production scale and the improvement of complexity of theIndustrial site, the industrial production site put forward higher request for monitoring system.Wireless communication received more and more common application with its own uniquecharacteristics and advantages in industrial site. In the wireless communication network,ZigBee controlling network has many advantages such as network flexibility and highreliability,etc.It has become the preferred technology of small-scale wireless monitoringsystem.This paper designs a wireless industrial monitoring network system which based onZigBee wireless network technology, this system consists of a coordinator, router and terminalnode. Coordinator is the core of the whole network, it is responsible for the establishment ofthe network and it allows the router node and terminal node (directly) to join the network; Thecoordinator connects with PC by RS485. Terminal node is responsible for collecting theanalog quantity of industrial site and the information of switch quantity by the sensors,it canalso perform control commands from any node in the network; terminal nodes exchangesinformation and command with other nodes by router, it can also transmit information to thePC through the router node and coordinator.According to the agreement standard, network structure and routing algorithm of ZigBeetechnology, this paper designs the industrial monitoring system based on ZigBee. It includesthe hardware and software design of coordinator, routers and terminal node.The design ofZigBee network construction, net flow, network address assignment and data frames ofnetwork communications, which is the core research content of the system.Finally, this paper completed the hardware design, make, debugging, and the programand debugging of the end nodes, route and coordinator on the basis of the design.
