Agricultural greenhouses is an important agricultural infrastructure for a long time. Improving the monitoring capacity of agricultural greenhouses is research goal of automatic control, communications, computers and other key areas. Through monitoring the temperature, humidity and carbon dioxide of the monitor area, agricultural monitoring can provide support for fine farming of agriculture, to achieve the goals of improve production efficiency, Enhance the quality of agricultural products, reduce production costs. In the traditional agricultural greenhouse monitoring, most of them used cable monitoring system, and they generally have the problems of construction difficult and inconvenience to maintenance.ZigBee is a new short-range,low-complexity,low-rate,low-power,low-cost wireless network technology, mainly used for short distance wireless connection. Now, ZigBee is mainly used in mine safety and automatic meter reading field, fewer used in agricultural greenhouses. Against this background, the paper designs an agricultural greenhouse control system that based on ZigBee.First, the ZigBee technology is reviewed. Then, the overall design of the system that based on the agricultural greenhouse control system application requirements is given. And, in accordance with the design requirements, the paper give out the hardware Schematic of ZigBee data collection node and ZigBee data aggregation node that all based on CC2430, the software design and implementation of nodes are also given. Contemporary, the ZigBee network time synchronization and energy-saving mechanism are studied and improved. Then, it gives design function, structure layer, and the achievement of the PC-monitoring software. At the end of this chapter, it also gives the functional definition of web interface and implementation.Finally, the paper also summarizes the done work, while pointing out the remote transmission chip upgrade, energy-saving mechanism, data integration, system interference will be the next phase of work direction.
