Research Of ZigBee Node Used In Smart Home

With the development of the computer technology, the informationization and network of smar home become a new direction of the family life,and smart home system also become a new reserch area. ZigBee wireless communication protocol has a great space in the industry, science and medical areas with the features of low cost, low power consumption, low transmission speed, short transmission distance and high security. However, the manufacture and selling of ZigBee products is still in start stage in modern domestic market, many technologies are not mature.The structure of smart home system is analyzed, then the advantages and disadvantages of the wireless network and the wired network are compared. The features of several Common wireless communication technologies are described.In foundation of reserching the zigbee protocol and the zigbee application layer, mac layer, net work layer and physical layer, the Zigbee key technologies of network topology, network connection, network configuration and service primitive are introduced.A coordinator node and two terminal nodes of ZigBee network are desighed to set up a star type zigbee network that suits in smart home system. The coordinator node sets up the network and controls the terminal nodes, the two terminal nodes are used to control a light and safety guards against theft. The design process conforms to modularization principle. The methodology used in this paper is dividing system into nodes, and then into circuit units, accordingly, programme flow is divided into main then to function element program. It shows the method and design mentality of setting up a zigbee network. On the achievement of controling, the method of terminal vertex binding.one terminal vertex is used to supervisory control a specific terminal node. The coordinator uses a pressed key to tell a terminal what to do and uses a LED to show what a terminal node is doing. A monitoring contact surface is made to supervisory control the terminal nodes conditions.To summarize, analysis in this paper is exhaustive and specific, and the zigbee wireless for smart home system designed is representative, the paper is helpful for popularizing zigbee products.
