In the modern life, Wireless remote control plays an important role in the life,scientific research, the military and so many fields. The functions and stability of thewireless remote control system have been improved as the embedded technology andcommunication technology of rapid development. A control system of wirelessremote control car which base on ARM9has been designed in this paper, Comparedwith the previous control systems, this system has a higher processing speed,reliability and more function, especially it equipped with the camera and wirelessnetwork card, can meet the requirements of many special occasions.First, the functions of the Remote control system are analyzed in this paper,andaccording to the demands of functions,uses the samsung’s S3C2440A chip as thehardware platform of remote control system, selects embedded WINCE operatingsystem as the software platform of remote control system. Focusing on the wirelessvideo data transmission requirements, through the research of WINCE flow drive,video image codec processing and network communication agreement, design andrealized the communication between of remote control and remote control carterminal through the wireless network card.This system integrates three technologies,which are embedded system, with videomonitoring and Internet. The experimental results show this control system is smallvolume,highly integrated, high reliabilty,etc., it can be applied in the military, homesafety, remote monitoring and so many fields.
