Intelligent multi-output power supply has wide applications in Optical commu-nication system. In recent years, with the development of intelligent optical-network networking, more and more attention are paid to optical network node devices, and appeared a number of optical devices which need multiple voltage drive, such as Electro-Optic Wavelength Filter and Reconfigurable optical add/drop multiplexer. Electro-Optic Wavelength Filter consists of a sequence of individually addressable polarization converters, and enables programmable spectral response and continuous wavelength tenability through polarization convert. Different voltage applied to each electro-optic polarization converter form a different Electric field, and then completes the polarization conversion. However, multiple voltage regulators require intelligent multiple-output power supply. In addition, the materials of two optical devices are nonlinear optical crystal such as LiNbO3 , LiTaO3,etc. The polarization conversion can be induced via the electro-optic effect, usually required voltage range-30V ~ +50 V. Meanwhile, we need more complex electrode structure to improve the filter spec-trum, and the small voltage deviations can cause negative spectral response. So a new type of multi-output, wide range, high-precision intelligent power is needed.This thesis using Cyclone II series FPGA as core IC, adding fourQuad D / A converter, achieve high-precision 16-channel voltage, and output voltage is amplified by high-pressure amplifier. PC can dynamic deploy output voltage through USB2.0 interface. In order to improve the visibility of the output voltage that can be dynami-cally configured, uses precision A / D converter AD7606 sampling the output voltage and converted it into 16bit data, and display in PC via USB2.0. In addition, using PWM controller UCC38C44, switching MOS and switch transformer, designed a switching power supply circuit for the entire system.The system is designed and made circuit boards by Protel dxp2004. Actual test results show that the system is well positioned to meet the design requirements, achieve 16 intelligent control voltage output, voltage ranges -35V~+55V, stepping adjustment sensitivity reaches 0.0244V, maximum output current is 50mA, and bias voltage less than 1mV.
