With the development of social economy, people to work and living environment requires the continuous improvement, so they come up with new request to property management of office, residence and so on. In order to better adapt to the situation, the promotion of property management level requires an effective management information system.Although the development and application of Property Management Information System in China had a certain foundation, but the traditional Property Management Information System had a common problem: business data and space geographic information are handled separately without a same platform. The management information system was barely able to meet demand when deals with a single type of operation of residential property management, but to containing many types of operation of Integrated Property Management System such as residence, office, business, catering an so on, multifarious words and data information would make management very confused.In order to solve the problem, in this paper I designed and developed an Integrated Property Management Information System based on GIS with the prototype of a property management company in TianJin (Geographic Information System abbreviation: GIS). By integrating MIS and GIS, the system could effectively manage business data and geographic information uniformly, it would make the complex data form become the combination of obvious images and words, the system could position, inquiry, show and maintain the space data, preliminarily realized the visualization property management, so it made the decision information of the system more visualized and accurately.In addition, the system realized that the users collected and processed information in a comparatively short time through the script WEB server which could be interacted with users, and made the corresponding decision, at the same time realized the dynamic management of things. By using the WEB browser, users could easily enter the business system whenever they want, they could obtain the service they need through visiting the corresponding modules of the business management system. The system realized low cost, high efficiency and high benefit.In the process of system development, the author mainly took responsibility for the system requirement analysis, structure design, database design, system interface design, system code design, system test and parts of three-dimensional modeling work.
