With the rapid development of modern education, the desire of the new curriculumreform is becoming increasingly urgent. The drawbacks of traditional teaching areincreasingly evident, and the personal features and requirement for students are growing moreand more important. High school education is the critical stage of quality education. Thetraditional single teaching model easily leads to serious polarization of students’ marks,which makes students lack of confidence.Layered and mobile class teaching is a teaching model which aims to respect individualdifferences of different students. According to students’ different knowledge on a certainsubject, learning interest and learning potential, we set up several classes of different levelsand then divide students into several groups without breaking the original administrativeclasses. Then students of different levels can choose the class which is suitable to him or her.That is based on the principal of ‘selection of yourself, and cooperation between teachers andstudents’. Compared with the traditional teaching model, layered learning system can makedifferent students produce their advantages to the full and help them give an active role instudy. Then it can improve students’ comprehensive quality and boost their personaldevelopment.This article has done a teaching research on layered teaching of biology in Grade Two.Certainly the author has also fully drawn on the experience of other teachers and analyzed thepresent situation on serious polarization of students’ marks and lack of confidence andinterest of some students. First, this research has stated the connotation of layered learningteaching, its theory basis, history and value. Besides, the author has proposed a series ofmeasures on teaching scheme of biological layered learning system, students layering, targetlayering, teaching layering, administrative layering and judgment layering in the research. Atlast the author has given a statistical analysis on the results of the experiment, which can offerreference for biological teaching reformThrough teaching practice for three months, students got better results in biology inmany aspects. To begin with, learning initiatives of students has got an unprecedentedincrease. They can select their own curriculum and learning methods by themselves according to their own interests, hobbies and learning abilities. Then they can also completetheir tasks with their teachers’ guidance, hoping to gain greater achievements. Besides,layered learning makes it easy for teachers to teach students in accordance with their aptitude.And teachers feel easier to set teaching aims, teaching contents and teaching methods. What’smore, exchanges of students are also increasing, which enhances their sense of competitionand cooperation. Last but not least, it makes students feel satisfied with their achievements. Inshort, layered learning system can meet the demand of the new curriculum reform, and is theharvest of quality education.
