The Design Of The Unit-exercises Of Information Technology Courses In Senior High School

At present, a lot of problems exist in the exercises of the Information Techno logy courses. Senior two students who are under the pressure of the Academic Proficiency Test are taken as an example. The exercises assigned by the teacher is usually designed for the Academic Proficiency Test and it is in the form of repeated mechanical exercises. All that the teacher does has an exam-oriented tendency and it leads to the students’losing the interest in this couse. With these problems, based on the Curriculum Standards and Test Instructions, this thesis attempts to design the unit-exercises with the help of the achievements in the revolution of the exercises home and abroad.The thesis elaborates the overall frame which includes the principles, strategies and the basic process of designing the unit-exercises and the types of the unit-exercises. Based on the revision sessions of the Information Technology courses, the thesis aims to explore the designs of the unit-exercises which are assessed in the form of questionnaires, interviews of the teachers and students productions.The research shows that the unit-exercises blend all the factors in teaching systematically. Reasons are as follows:the unit-exercises are related to contents of a unit;the contents of the Academic Proficiency Test are its frame; the objectives of the classwrok is consistent with those of a unit. Not only can students develop their knowledge and skills, but also their abilities of analyzing and solving the probles can be improved. At the same time, students can master the strategies of learning.This thesis carries out some new explorations in pracice to give some aids of understanding and carrying out the idea "unit-exercises" for the teachers.
