Based On The Multiple Regression Method Research To The Influential Factors Of Higher Vocational College Students' Employment

Higher vocational education is an important component of the higher education system in China. Following the educational system reform plus the economic growth, Chinese higher vocational education is facing very favorable opportunities for its development and turns out to be the one that is closest to the people’s interests, local economic and social development. With school running scale and enrollment increasingly expanded, from year to year a great many graduates are plunging themselves into such job-hunting competition, which will inevitably bring an even severer situation of employment. Therefore, an approach to the employment of students of higher vocational education and those influencing factors is of consequence in its employment promotion.Combining with relevant theories and research results home and abroad, this thesis based on the employment status and characteristics of vocational college students analyses and sorts out factors that influence the employment of students of higher vocational colleges, mainly as follows:immature social employment environment, employing units’ prejudiced recognition, irrational major setting and weak practice teaching, and poor students’comprehensive quality,and so on. Therefore, this thesis put forward to research model and hypotheses on employment influence factors, and concluded that students’individual differences and employing units’recognition have a greater impact on higher vocational colleges student employment, other than other factors. Upon that, this thesis put forward to countermeasures on higher vocational colleges student employment:higher vocational colleges should enhance the quality of education and scientificly set majors; strengthen the propaganda and effectively make the polies of employment; strengthen communication and effectively meet the needs of employers; strengthen the employment education of student to enhance the employment ability.To promote higher vocational college students’ employment is a long-term, complex systematic project, only through unremitting efforts, can we achieve good results.
