The employment quality of graduates from higher vocational colleges is not only one of the key indicators to measure the teaching level of higher education in China,but also plays an important role in the development of all walks of life in our country.This paper studies and analyzes the current employment quality status of graduates from higher vocational colleges in Shanghai,and studies its influencing factors from the perspective of the school,and puts forward feasible suggestions for improving the employment quality of graduates from higher vocational colleges.First,this article takes Shanghai 2018 vocational college graduates as the survey object,obtains first-hand relevant data,and makes a descriptive statistical analysis of various aspects of graduate employment.The results show that Shanghai 2018 vocational college Most of the graduates of the university chose to work in Shanghai.The industry distribution is relatively balanced.The nature of the unit is mainly private enterprises and the unit size is mostly SMEs.In terms of salary,its average salary is 4356.81 yuan / month,which is a certain distance from Shanghai’s overall salary level.The scores in terms of employment suitability and employment satisfaction are at a medium level.Second,this article uses the literature review method and the entropy method to build an employment quality evaluation index system for graduates of higher vocational colleges in Shanghai,and calculates a comprehensive score of 2.98 points,which is at a moderately low level,indicating that the 2018 Shanghai Higher Vocational College The employment quality of college graduates needs to be improved.Third,from the perspective of the school,this paper selects three latent variables that are closely related to the school,such as employment service,teaching level and learning environment,as exogenous variables.The structural equation model method was used to verify and analyze the influencing factors of the employment quality of graduates in Shanghai Higher Vocational Colleges.The results show that the path coefficients of employment service and teaching level to employment quality are significant,while the coefficients of the learning environment factors are not significant,indicating that employment service and teaching level have an important impact on improving the employment quality of higher vocational graduates.In the end,based on the results of the model verification,this article puts forward specific suggestions to the school in terms of employment service and teaching level.
