With the development of information technology, the society has entered into the era of knowledge-based economy, asked people to only build a professional knowledge system, improve the personal knowledge of architecture, in order to improve competitiveness. However, the development of information technology and make the world became a huge resource database, people often get lost in this huge resource repositories. The graduate student is a special group, they are different from other phases of culture, they more emphasis on professional skills and scientific research ability by self-directed learning. So how can graduate student effectively autonomous learning improve personal knowledge system? This requires providing a personal learning environment (PLE). The graduate student is the center when they study in this learning environment, they can choose learning tools and learning resources freely, and they can set the pace to study Social software, as a representative of the Web2.0 technology makes it possible. Social Software is easy to learn, students can self-learning for their own learning characteristics and circumstances, it provides fully interactive learning methods and ways for learners.This work is comprised of four phases:literature research, theoretical research, empirical research and evaluation analysis. The author of the research and analysis of literature based on theoretical discussion and empirical research using a combination of methods, described theoretically related to the personal learning environment (PLE) graduate studies, surveys of graduate study characteristics and needs of the community constructivism, distributed awareness, situational awareness and situational learning theory and learning theory as a guide and other related communities, building a platform based on the needs of students based Web2.0 features a personal learning environment (PLE) model, to proceed on the basis of preliminary design and development, and platform technologies in the Southwest University graduate pplication, in the course of the study surveys to collect feedback data, and the collation and analysis to verify the effectiveness of the platform. The results show that:the graduate students to carry out social Web2.0-based personal learning environment for learning activities are feasible and effective. Use of personal learning environment of academic exchanges, scientific research and effective ability to graduate students, provides a good learning environment for researchers to carry out knowledge construction and collaborative learning.
