With the step of Web2.0 era, the voice of personalized made the traditional learning environment design face many criticized. Personal learning environment (PLE) is a new concept and emerging thing under the needs of lifelong learning, informal learning, effective learning and emergence of large number of Web2.0 services. First of all, personal learning environment solved the problem that what is the attribution of knowledge, at the same time it also promoted the recognition of informal learning. Particularly in the provision of Web2.0 personalized and interactive services, the patterns design for PLE based on Web2.0 has become a new perspective of the learning environment studies area.In this paper, based on the theories of multiple intelligence, knowledge transformation, social networks, humanistic, dialogue and cybernetics, we design the patterns for PLE based on Web2.0 in two aspects (personal knowledge&social networks) by literature analytic method, software engineering method and observation method. In this research, we believe that: The design of personal learning environment and personal characteristics of knowledge are inseparable. Personal knowledge is the logical start of PLE. Based on the process of knowledge transformation like socialization, externalization, combination, internalization, this paper we considered the context, experience property and expressivity, and achieve the purpose of focus on personal knowledge through designing context patterns, temporal Patterns, workflow patterns and activity patterns; Secondly, individual learners in the PLE is not isolated, each has social nature. Under the social network, learning networks of PLE support multiple domains with overlapping memberships. Seize the features of conversation and cooperation in learning activities, we designed conversation patterns, team patterns and social patterns to ensure that the social nature of learner has been concerned; Third, As a symbol of today's networks, the application of web2.0 services (e.g. Tag, Feed, Blog, Wiki, Rss, net extraction, etc.) and technologies (e.g. API, Ajax, XML, etc.) provides great support to learner's personality and sociality. These are the core works of this research.Due to the time limitation, the patters design is still not perfect. Some modules need to be realized by development of technology.
