This paper is focus on researching the job satisfaction of clinical nurse about different age, different education, different title, different nature of employment and different marital status,so the administrators can take effective interfered measures for improving job satisfaction of clinical nurse and nursing quality, then it can make nurse team more stable. The survey instruments of our study are the combination of job satisfaction of clinical nurse scale and interview. The questionnaire of this thesis is based on the job satisfaction questionnaire of the theory, and refer to the authority of the foreign job satisfaction questionnaire such as Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ) and Muller/McCloskey Satisfaction Scale (MMSS).Based on referring literatures home and abroad, we make every preliminary item.The questionnaire includes eight factors:management style of leadership, wages and benefits, the work itself, work being recognized, relationship with colleagues, workload, personal growth and development, the balance of family and work. Each factor of the questionnaire includes different test items, and the total number of the items is 44.In addition, the questionnaire also includes investigation of basic information of the clinical nurses,such as: work experience, gender, department, title, education, nature of employment, monthly income and so on. The survey is from October 2009 to November. We sent 215 questionnaires and fetch 215 questionnaires,and 210 questionnaires are valid.According to the analysis of the survey data of job satisfaction of clinical nurse in ZN University Hospital,we found that the job satisfaction of clinical nurse of ZN University Hospital was not high. According to the survey results, we sort the eight factors which impact the job satisfaction of clinical nurses with the scores from low to high. The results are:wages and benefits, workload, professional development opportunity, work being recognized, balance of family and work, management style of leadership,the work itself, relations with colleagues. The nurses are most satisfied with the relations with colleagues,but not satisfied with the benefit (such as wage, holiday),workload, professional development opportunities, work being recognized and the balance of work and family.
