| ObjectiveThe aim of this study was to investigate the situation of nurse-nurse collaboration,job satisfaction and Intent to stay of nurses.To study the difference of the demographics factors in terms of nurse-nurse collaboration,job satisfaction and Intent to stay of nurses.To explore the relationship between them and to provide scientific measures for improving nurse-nurse collaboration,job satisfaction and intent to stay of nurses.MethodsA total of 561 clinical nurses,from three first-class hospitals in jinzhou,were investigated by means of random sampling.Instruments of study included : demographic data questionnaire,the Nurse-Nurse Collaboration scale,the Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire and Intent To Stay Scale.SPSS20.0 statistical software was applied to collect and analyze date.The main methods consist of descriptive statistical analysis,independent sample t test,one-way ANOVA,the LSD analysis,the Games-Howell analysis,Pearson correlation analysis and multiple step wise regression analysis.Results1.The total average score of nurse-nurse collaboration is(65.60±10.62),The average score of entry is(2.62±0.42),According to the average score,four dimensions was divided into share,professionalization,communication and conflict coordination from high to low.The total average score of job satisfaction is(64.83±11.72),The average score of entry is(3.24±0.59),According to the average score,three dimensions was divided into endogenous satisfaction,exogenous satisfaction and general satisfaction from high to low.The total average score of intent to stay is(18.10±4.21),The average score of entry is(3.02±0.70).2.The score of nurse-nurse collaboration was different in the age,education,title,marital status,employment form,department,and the purpose of career in nursing(P<0.01).The score of job satisfaction was different in the age,education,title,monthly salary,marital status,employment form,department,and the purpose of career in nursing(P<0.05).The score of intent to stay was different in the age,education,title,marital status,employment form,department,and the purpose of career in nursing(P<0.05).3.Correlation analysis showed that nurse-nurse collaboration,job satisfaction and intent to stay was significantly positively correlated(P<0.01).Further multivariate step wise regression analysis showed that influencing factors on job satisfaction include age,employment form,professionalization,marital status and education.Among these factors,employment form can negatively predict job satisfaction,other factors can positively predict job satisfaction.These variables could explain 38.7% of job satisfaction.Conflict coordination,professionalization,general satisfaction and exogenous satisfaction can positively predict intent to stay.These variables could explain 34.6% of intent to stay.Conclusions1.The nurse-nurse collaboration of clinical nurses was above average,the conflict coordination got the lowest score.The job satisfaction of clinical nurses was above average,the general satisfaction got the lowest score.The intent to stay of clinical nurse was in the middle level.It’s need to further improve nurse-nurse collaboration,job satisfaction and intent to stay of nurses.2.To improve nurse-nurse collaboration,job satisfaction and intent to stay of clinical nurses,that according to age,education,title,monthly salary,marital status,employment form,department,and the purpose of career in nursing.3.The nurse-nurse collaboration and job satisfaction were significantly positively correlated with Intent to stay of clinical nurses.By improving nurse-nurse collaboration and job satisfaction could promote the intent to stay of clinical nurses in some degree.Particularly,improving the Conflict coordination,the professionalization,the general satisfaction and the exogenous satisfaction could better promote intent to stay of clinical nurses in some degree. |
