Based on the relevant theories of patient satisfaction and related literature review, this paper designs the satisfaction questionnaire of patients in the First Affiliated Hospital of Shihezi University Medical College, evaluates the basic characteristics of hospitalized patients, constructs a hospital patient satisfaction evaluation index system, and proposes hospital improvement.Suggestions for the satisfaction of hospitalized patients. In the current social environment, the doctor-patient relationship has long been in a “sub-health” state. On the one hand, the major medical institutions represented by public hospitals must strive to improve their overall strength. On the other hand, they must also focus on improving hospital management and improving medical services to improve the level of patient satisfaction with hospital medical services.Improving patient satisfaction is not only an external requirement for the medical and health authorities to assess the hospital, but also an inherent need for the hospital's self-development.Compared with outpatients, inpatients have a longer experience of medical services, more interaction with medical staff,a more complete experience of the service process, and a greater say in the overall quality of hospital services. Many hospitals abroad have already introduced the service marketing concept into the hospital management field, which will improve patient satisfaction as the core of the hospital's development strategy. With the emphasis on patient satisfaction among various medical institutions in China, the satisfaction assessment of inpatients has become a routine work of hospital medical services.Based on the relevant theory and literature review of patient satisfaction, this paper combines the actual situation of the hospital affiliated hospital in Shihezi University with the author's own work experience on the basis of the hospital inpatient satisfaction survey form developed by relevant domestic scholars. The hospitalization patient satisfaction questionnaire was revised and improved. The questionnaire includes the general conditions of hospitalized patients and the satisfaction of medical services. The general conditions of the patients include: gender, age, occupation, education level, place of residence, marital status, monthly income of family per capita, etc.;The degree includes: medical treatment, medical quality,doctor-patient communication, medical expenses, medical ethics, medical environment and security, and other six medical service satisfaction evaluation items. This paper introduces the development of the First Affiliated Hospital of Shihezi University Medical College, and classifies and summarizes the inpatients, and analyzes the status, problems and causes of the hospital-patient relationship.Through the field research of the hospital, satisfaction survey questionnaires were issued to 550 inpatients in six categories including internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, intensive care, emergency department and pediatrics. The survey results show that the overall satisfaction of inpatients in the First Affiliated Hospital of Shihezi University Medical College is at a relatively high level.A study on the satisfaction evaluation of different small group groups found that the overall satisfaction was statistically significant(P<0.05).In addition to medical process satisfaction(57.0%),medical expenses(52.1%),medical environment and security(54.4%),satisfaction with other dimensions was higher, reaching 64.1% and above.Medical process satisfaction is lower than doctor-patient communication and medical ethics, medical quality satisfaction is lower than medical ethics, medical quality satisfaction is higher than medical environment and security;doctor-patient communication satisfaction is higher than medical expenses and medical environment and security; The satisfaction of medical expenses is lower than that of medical ethics;the satisfaction of medical ethics is higher than the medical environment and protection. The study also conducted a single factor analysis of the overall satisfaction of inpatient medical services with the general situation of patients and the satisfaction evaluation of each dimension. The analysis found that age, education level, department category, place of residence and overall satisfaction were significantly correlated..In addition, the six sub-items of medical quality, medical ethics, medical expenses,doctor-patient communication, medical procedures, medical environment and protection also affect the overall satisfaction of hospitalized patients with hospital medical services to varying degrees. In view of the above findings, this paper puts forward suggestions for improving the satisfaction of hospital inpatients from five aspects: improving patient satisfaction with medical expenses, improving medical service quality, optimizing hospital inpatient process, promoting hospital doctor-patient harmony, and improving hospital inpatient environment. And from the three aspects of strengthening the "patient-centered" concept, establishing and improving the relevant security system, and doing a good job in coordination and implementation.
