Pancreatic Cancer Clinical Analysis Of Tcm Syndrome Characteristics

Purpose： To summarize the syndrome type of traditional Chinese Medicine and theinfluence factors.Material and method： This study retrospectively analyzed the carcinoma of pancreasin patients,(a total of55patients in this group) who are confirmed diagnosis at the AffiliatedHospital of Chinese traditional Medicine University of Liaoning. We summarized the gender,age, cancer location, symptoms, and so on. The factors were dated and were assessed byspss19.0software.Results：1.The main symptoms of pancreatic carcinoma are pain(72.2%),nausea andvomiting(31.5%),jaundice(27.8%),unexplained weight loss(27.8%),fatigue(70.4%),dyspepsia(74.1%),abdominaldistention(46.3%),constipation(42.6%),thirsty(33.3%),and insomnia(31.5%).Thehigh-frequency tongue color of the carcinoma of pancreas is dark red(38.9%) andred(33.3%).The high-frequency tongue fur is greasy whitish fur(21.4%) and greasy yellowishfur(22.2%).The high-frequency pulse is taut and thready pulse(25.9%), taut and smoothpulse(18.9%),and deep and thready pulse(24.1%).2．The symptoms of pancreatic cancer mainly started with epigastric discomfort（18.52%）,upper abdominal pain（51.85%）, and jaundice（16.67%）.3. The first symptoms started with upper abdominal pain, especially in patients with pacreaticbody and tail carcinoma (80%).While jaundice is common in pancreatic headcarcinoma(52.94%).4. The syndrome type of traditional Chinese Medicine according to cluster analysis results aresyndrome of retained dampnessheat toxin, dampness-heat accumulates in the deficient spleen,stagnation of stasis and Qi, and deficiency of vital Qi and excessiveness of pathogen..5. There is statistically significant difference of the syndrome type of traditional ChineseMedicine between the patients got the tumor removed and patients only got palliative care.6. There is statistically significant difference of the syndrome type of traditional Chinese Medicine between the patients got palliative operation and patients only got palliative care.Conclusion：1. Common symptoms of pancreatic cancer patients are pain, nausea and vomiting, jaundice,unexplained weight loss, fatigue, dyspepsia, abdominal distention, constipation, thirsty, andinsomnia. The high-frequency tongue color of the carcinoma of pancreas is dark red and red.The high-frequency tongue fur is greasy whitish fur and greasy yellowish fur.
