Objective By systematic research about clinical research literature of acupotomology treatment of frozen shoulder and consulation from expert, draw up recommended proposal, which mainly focusing on the treatment protocols,for clinical practice of frozen shoulder with acupotomy,thus in order to regulate procedures and improve not only efficacy but also safety of clinical practice with acupotomy.Methods According to the national standard manipulation guidance and referring to the style of the guideline for clinical practice of management of primary osteoporosis with traditional medicine given by World Health Organization of Western Pacific Region and evidence-based guidelines for clinical practice of TCM-ACUPUNCTURE, systematically analyze and evaluate clinical research literatures of acupotomology treatment of frozen shoulder,with methods of evidence classification and evaluation from evidence-based medicine, and consult experts’opinions by questionnaires, statistically analyze questionnaires by statistical software and summarize experts’consulations,draw up evidence-based recommended proposal for clinical practice of frozen shoulder with acupotomy eventually.We completely search home and abroad literature which is related to researches about acupotomy operation for frozen shoulder through internet databases by computer retrieval. After that, we preliminary screening the collected literature and formulate Inclusion and exclusion criteria, finally, extract the clinical therapeutic research literature. Strictly follow the principles and methods of evidence-based medicine, and choose the compiling principle of evidence-based guidelines as methodology guidance, according to division standard of evidence-based level of evidence compiled by Standard of AHCPR (American Health Care and Policy Research Department.1992) and Standard of SIGN (Scotish Intereollegiate Guidelines Network), to evaluate the level of evidence of the collected literature, include high level evidence, extract specific contents about acupuntomy clinical practice, formulate references. Then, draft Suggested Recommendation of Clinical Unified Technology Handling Companion of Acupotomy for frozen shoulder following redact principle of guideline and consult style of existing manuals and research results about manuals of TCM.Focus on problems and disputes during drafting suggested recommendation, we draw up Questionnaire for Specialists about Acupotomy for frozen shoulder and take advice from specialists in acupotomology, Orthopedics and traumatology etc. by questionnaire survey. Then, we retrieve questionnaires and analyze them statistically after sort and collection of answers of questionnaires. Finally, we complete a Suggested Design of Clinical Unified Technology Handling Companion of Acupotomy for frozen shoulder which could reflect characteristic ascendancy of acupotomy according to evidence of evidence-based medicine and acupotomy clinical practice.Results:1.By Drawing up recommended proposal for clinical practice of frozen shoulder with acupotomy, we explored a kind of method,which integrated evidence-based guidelines method and the expert consensus method,in compiling clinical practice guidelines, which could also provide some reference for the methodology for other clinical practice guidelines. As a basic reaserch,this could laid a certain research foundation for the industry standard or national standards on acupotomology treatment of frozen shoulder.2.Accomplished about the basic research of recommended proposal for clinical practice of frozen shoulder with acupotomy, drew up recommended proposal for clinical practice of frozen shoulder with acupotomy.Conclusion: Referring to the style and method of the guideline for clinical practice of management of primary osteoporosis with traditional medicine given by World Health Organization of Western Pacific Region and evidence-based guidelines for clinical practice of TCM-ACUPUNCTURE,combining with the acupotome treatment characteristics.It’s feasible to draw up recommended proposal for clinical practice of frozen shoulder with acupotomy by appling methods of evidence classification and evaluation from evidence-based medicine into the systematic research about clinical research literature and consulting experts’ opinions by questionnaires. And it is a worth exploring way to promote standardization work and realize the reliability, efficiency and safety of acupotomology standardization activities with the research methods of evidence-based medicine.
