Clinical Observation On The Effects On Scapulohumeral Periarthritis By Acupuncture To Tiaokao And Chengshan

Objective:From the Poin to fview of elinieai observation,to make objeetive Evaluation of the treatment by Acupuncture to tiaokao and chengshan on Scapulohumeral Periarthritis.And to gave essential basis for hunting the effective methods of treatment on Scapulohumeral Periarthritis in clinic.All this conduced to better application and spreading in clinic.Methods:60 patients with periarthritis of the shoulder were equally randomized to two groups(treatment group and control group,with 30 cases each). The criteria of diagnosis and adopted various treatment parameters were fixed,and pain of the shoulder,function and activity of the shoulder joint were used as observation indexes.The results and conclusion are based on the statistical processing and analysis of the index.Treatment group:penetration needing to tiaokou through chengshan.Major acupuncture points:jianyu,jianzhen,jianqian,jianliao,binao,quchi.The main points are selected each time combined with the accompany points according to the syndrome differentiate on.Concrete application is as follows.Contral group:not using penetration needing.Major acupuncture points and adjunct points with treatment group.Operation:(treatment group) 1.First of the acupuncture:The patient taken to lateral recumbent position or sitting.After routiue sterilization on the acupuncture points.Selection diameter of 0.3 Millimeters stainless filiform needle in length1-1.5 chun then treated.Though using continuous wave was first used 10 minutes and than disperse-dense wave was used 20 minutes,in all 30 minutes.The concerte intensity varied by patients torlerance degree.2. puncture the lower limb points with the diameter of 0.35×75Millimeters stainless filiform needle in length of 3 cun on the uninjured side from Tiaokou penetrating to Chengshan.with simultaneous movements of the affected shoulder in adduction,abduction,superduction,etc.The manipulation methods are with lifting,thrusting and rotating in great extent mainly for reducing.Retained the needles for 30 minutes.Every 10 minutes manipulation of the needle.The concrete intensity varied by Patient torlerance degree.(contral group):The operation identically treatment group,not using penetration needling method.Results:1.As to the treatment group,there was 11 male patients and 19 female patients and age range of the patients was from 35 and 67 years old.The average age was 50.67±8.51 years old.The control group,there was 13 male patients and 17 female patients and age range of the patients was from 37 and 64 years old.The average age was 50.63±7.83 years old.There was no significant difference in the gender,mean age and course of disease(p＞0.05).This showed that there was comparability between the control group and the treatment group.2.For the index before therapy,statistic analyses showed that there was no significant difference between the control group and the treatment group(p＞0.05).3.The difference of the pain scores is significant in the two groups after finishing the treatment which shows the pain relieving effect in the treating group is better than in the control group(p＜0.01).4.In the assessment of the therapeutic effects on the shoulder joint function.The effects in the treating group are better than the control group with significant difference in the score comparison(p＜0.01).Conclusion:Through the analysis of the clinical observational results on scapulohumeral periarthritis by acupuncture,the therapeutic method of mainly acupuncture combined with movements of the affected shoulder has certain clinical practical value in which penetrating acupuncture is better than local acupuncture method.
