Study On Enhancing Cultural Soft Power Of Changde City

At present, cultural soft power has become an important factor in the competitionof comprehensive national strength and plays an extremely important role in theeconomic and social development. On the analysis of the cultural soft power based onthe theory of related, this paper takes Changde city of Hunan province as an exampleand in-deep analysis its current cultural soft power situation, finds that Changde hasadvantages in human resources, natural resources, location and geo-city environment,but its also has disadvantages in ideological understanding, security mechanism,system dynamics, industrial base and talent team and so on. What’s more, the rapiddevelopment of economic globalization, the constant optimization of culturalconstruction policy environment and the great potential of cultural consumptionmarket brings the ascension of Changde’s cultural soft power great opportunities. Butat the same time, the penetration and occupation of foreign culture, the competition ofcultural soft power of regions and the rapid development and the widespreadapplication of modern science and technology will also bring huge challenge. learningthe advanced experience of ascension from foreign countries such as American,Britain, France and South Korea, and domestic advanced regions such as Shanghai,Shenzhen, Yunnan and Hunan, based on his own personal practice, the author putforward seven measures enhancing Changde’s cultural soft power such asstrengthening cultural development guarantee system, deepening cultural system andmechanism innovation, promoting core value system construction, perfecting systemof public cultural services, promoting cultural industry’s fast development,strengthening cultural communication ability construction and ramming talentconstruction engineering project. This article aims to provide some useful suggestionsfor enhancing Changde’s cultural soft power, and an important theory support for thedevelopment and prosperity of Changde. Meanwhile, it also hopes to providereference for the whole country and some other municipals that have similar situationof Hunan, and to help theoretical researchers to more in-depth research in the culturalsoft power field.
