Ruili City, Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province is the application place of state-level intangible culture heritage(hereinafter referred to as ICH) Dai people’s peacock dance, the state-level inheritor Yuexiang who live in Hansha village that is one of inherit point Ruili city,in recent years,under the support of the national government and driven by the inheritors, Dai people’s peacock dance in Hansha village get good inheritance and development,and promote the development of tourism and cultural industry in Hansha village.Dai people’s peacock dance is shared cultural by China and Myanmar,but because of different countries make their development have significant differences.Then,a large number of Burmese border came to Hansha village to learn Dai people’s peacock dance,both sides opened more cultural exchanges activities that oriented to Dai people’s peacock dance culture,as a result,Dai people’s peacock dance culture brought border from China and Burma into closer ralations,make them have more contacts and exchanges but also continue to influence Dai people’s ethnic identity between the two countries, Chinese border national identity and so on, make Dai people’s peacock dance rise to be the role of enhance country’s cultural soft power and as a platform of Chinese Cultural communication,play a posttive role to promote China’s cultural soft power.The introduction states the selected topic’s cause, it comes from the question why ICH Dai people’s peacock dance can make more and more people know and can get good inheritance and development. It also hackles a number of researches which relate to the topic of the ICH,soft power and Dai people’s peacock dance. Introduces that situation of Hansha village.Chapter1explores the roots in the religious life and customs areas of Dai people’s peacock dance,to illustrate it has a long-standing history.Then turn our attention to what kind of role Dai people’s peacock dance plays in Dai people’s daily lives,,such as express happy emotional when GanBai,stage of appreciation and so on.Then give an overview of current Dai people’s development, inheritance status quo from its performance form and people’s studying enthusiasm.Chapter2first describes the story of how Ruili get the place for Dai people’s peacock dance,and it success application for being included state-level intangible culture heritage list. Through consolidation of the two inheritor life story,linked inheritor,their families and Dai people’s peacock dance, show Dai people’s peacock dance culture around inheritor’s life experiences, finally, analyzes some changes in Hansha village from the aspects of livelihoods, human relations and schooling.Chapter3describes the effects of different inheritance mechanisms for Dai people’s peacock dance cultural development between China and Myanmar, common Dai people’s peacock dance increase Dai people’s cultural exchanges between China and Myanmar,meanwhile,analyzes the reason why Dai people of Burma continue to come to Hansha viallage,explained the national is important to culture.Chapter4analyzes the impact of Dai people’s peacock dance culture on Dai people’s ethnic identity between China and Myanmar,how to enhance Chinese border national identity,make more harmonious relationships between the two countries border, increase national cohesion,and contribute to cultural development of Myanmar border, cultural soft power would be enhanced in this process.The conclusion expressed that cultural heritage in the minority-inhabited border areas just like Dai people’s peacock dance are important to achieve national culture as soft power.
