Preliminary Study On Syndromes On The Remission Stage Of Asthma In Children Suitable For Using Chinese Medicine Point Application Therapy

Objective:To observe the effects of Chinese Medicine point application therapy in treating children asthma in the remission, and to explore the syndromes suitable for using Chinese Medicine point application therapy.Methods:The suffering children can be classified,according to the Classification Standards of Syndromes on the Remission Stage of Asthma which is mentioned in "Chinese Pediatrics",edited by Wang Shouchuan, into Lung and Spleen Qi Deficiency group(30 cases),Spleen-Kidney Yang Deficiency group(30 cases) and Lung-Kidney Yin Deficiency group(0 cases.Because of the lack of comparability, we gave up the observation on this group), then observed and compared before and after treatment. Results:Treating childhood asthma by Chinese Medicine point Application Therapy,the comparative difference of Lung and Spleen Qi Deficiency type and Spleen-Kidney Yang Deficiency type have statistics meaning (p<0.05),the Lung and Spleen Qi Deficiency type of Asthma in children in remission is more suitable.Conclusion:Be treated by point application of chinese medicine,the Lung and Spleen Qi Deficiency type,compared with Spleen-Kidney Yang Deficiency type of Asthma in children in remission, is more appropriate.
