The Research Of Traditional Chinese Medicine In The Treatment Of Perimenopausal Syndrome Caused By The Treatment Of Breast Cancer

Objective:To observe the effectiveness and safety of Gan mai da zao and Tian wang bu xin Dan TCM herbal therapy for the treatment of endocrine therapy induced breast cancer associated climacteric syndrome like illness.Method:Breast cancer associated climacteric syndrome like illness patients who could be differentiated into depletion of meridian syndrome are recruited.All subjects were given original endocrine therapy plus modified TCM decoction of Gan mai Da zao and Tian wang bu xin Dan,2times per day for2months.Menopausal symptoms were measured using theKupperman index before and after TCM intervention.Life quality,serum,female hormone level,tumor recurrence and metastasis indexes hematological and hepatic and renal functions were all examined.Results:Clinical studies have shown that treatment of the after clinical efficacy, quality of life to improve the situation were better than before treatment (P<0.05or P<0.01) Perimenopausal syndrome after the Chinese intervention effective response rate was86.7%, including hot flashes, sweating, insomnia, irritability, depression, fatigue, heart palpitations and other symptoms improved markedly after the Chinese intervention, with statistical significance. And before and after the Chinese intervention, estrogen and other hormone levels in the plasma of patients with no significant difference, there is no increase in the risk of recurrence and metastasis in patients with breast cancer found that the relevant aspects of the liver and kidney, blood toxicity, nor the Chinese intervention process.Conclusion:Gan mai Da zao and Tian wang bu xin Dan TCM herbal therapy is effective to relieve endocrine therapy induced breast cancer associated climacteric syndrome like illness,with high safety.But further multi-centre large-sample and longer duration studies are required.
