ObjectiveTo observe the efficacy and safety of Jiao Zhu decoction after endocrine therapy on preventing the perimenopausal syndrome caused by breast cancer. To provide an effective means and to establish a clinical pathway that can be used to promote the efficacy of Chinese medicine to cure the peri-menopausal syndrome.Research methodCollecting the disease information of 70 patients who were clear pathologically diagnosed with breast cancer. All these patients had received endocrine therapy from March to December 2018 in the Oncology Ward of the first Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. They were randomly divided into two groups including the observation group and the control group. Each group had 35 patients. All patients were treated with a traditional Chinese medicine called “anti-tumor drug”.Each patient was injected of Eddie(250 ml glucose injection at a concentration of 50% and 70 ml Aidi injection, intravenous drip once a day)and sequential oral Xiaoaiping Tablets(3 times per 2.4g day)for 15 days a month. In addition, the control group was given calcium carbonate D3(3 g daily for 2 times),the observation group used JiaoZhu decoction(150ml each morning and evening). The course of treatment was 3 months. The TCM symptoms,Kupperman scores, hormone levels and safety index of the two groups were recorded. The conclusion was made after statistical analysis of each index.Result(1)General comparison: The age, pathological type, endocrine drug type and time, and hormone receptor status of the two groups were compared,P > 0.05,there was no significant difference between the two groups.(2)Efficacy index: According to the Kupperman scoring standard, the control group was 22.43 ±4.52 in the third month while15.7 ±4.06 of the observationgroup. There was significant difference between the two groups. The independent t-test showed P=0.000<0.0 5,and the statistics showed significant difference. In the 6th month, the control group was 27.23±5.28,the observation group was 17.60 ±4.30.There was significant difference between the two groups. The independent t-test showed P=0.021 < 0.05,which was statistically different. In the comparison of individual symptoms, the two groups underwent independent rank sum test of some index including hot flashes, depression, suspicion, insomnia, emotional agitation, musculoskeletal pain, fatigue, dizziness, and palpitations. The observation group scored lower than the control group,P < 0.05,which showed statistical difference.(3)Hormone levels: before and after 6 months of the treatment of E2 level in the control group, the paired t-test showed P =0.640 > 0.05.The FSH level before and after 6 months of treatment of the control group showed P =0.651 > 0.05 compared with the paired t-test.The E2 level before and after 6 months of treatment of the observation group showed P =0.245 > 0.05 compared with the paired t-test.The FSH level of the observation group was compared before and after 6 months of treatment. The paired t-test showed P =0.714 > 0.05.There was no significant change in hormone levels between the two groups before and after 6 months.(4)Safety index: no significant change was found in the blood routine, urine routine, stool routine, liver and kidney function and tumor markers(P> 0.05),and no adverse reactions occurred.Conclusion1.The preventive effect of JiaoZhu decoction on the peri-menopausal syndrome after endocrine therapy for breast cancer is better than that of the control group.2.Superior in the hot flashes, depression, suspicion, insomnia, emotional agitation, musculoskeletal pain,fatigue,dizziness,palpitations.3.JiaoZhu decoction has no obvious effect on hormone levels, and no obvious side effects have been found.
