Clinical Study On Treatment Of Acupoint Application Against Perimenopausal Syndrome During Endocrine Terament Period On Breast Cancer

ObjectiveThe status of endocrine therapy which with both accurate clinical efficacy and good tolerance for Breast cancer is improving in comprehensive treatment.In order to ensure the curative effect,especially the length of treatment ranges from 5 to 10 years,the side-effect about the duration of treatment brought can not be ignored.It is manifested as a series of symptoms of perimenopausal syndrome,which can bring inconvenience to the daily life and work of patients,and may even become a major cause of non-medical interruption of drug treatment.There is no uniform standard for the treatment of perimenopausal syndrome in the endocrine treatment period of breast cancer,the treatment of Western medicine is mainly through symptomatic treatment to relieve symptoms.Traditional Chinese medicine treatment in the prevention and treatment of the side effects of endocrine therapy has its unique advantages.Such as convenience and lowconsumption.The aim of this study is to provide safe and effective prevention and treatment for Perimenopausal syndrome during endocrine therapy of breast cancer.MethodsA total of 78 patients of perimenopausal syndrome patients who undergoing endocrine therapy of breast cancer were collected from The Second Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Guangdong Province.and 39 cases were divided into the treatment group and the control group by random Number table method.The control group was given oral tid tablets 20mg,and the experimental group was treated with Oryzanol Tablet(20mg,tid).The test group was treated combine Oryzanol Tablet(20mg,tid)with Chinese herbal Medicine acupoint application for 1 month.The safety was evaluated by observing and comparing the changes of the evaluation of TCM symptom integral,Kupperman symptom integral,MRS(?)scores and clinical efficacy before and after treatment.And the relevant safety indexes were determined.Results1.Symptom efficacy:The treatment group were superior to the control group(80.56%)in effective rates of the TCM symptoms compare with the control groug(47.22%).This manifested in the effective rates of Kupperman symptoms combine Oryzanol Tablets with Chinese herbal Medicine acupoint application therapy group(77.78%)than the the Oryzanol Tablets therapy group(47.22%).The improvement of the total efficient rates of MRS in treatment Group(75%)was more significant than control Group(58.33%)by comparison.2.Clinical syndromes Index:The comparisons of the scores in TCM symptom integral,Kupperman symptom integral and MRS(?)score between two groups was no significant difference(P>0.05)before treatment.Compared with TCM symptom integral,Kupperman symptom integral,MRS(?)score,Two groups had curative effect(P<0.05)in improving clinical symptoms,and there are obvious difference between two control group(P<0.05).3.Sex hormone level:There was no significant difference in sexual hormone levels between the two groups(P>0.05)before treatment.And there was no significant difference(P>0.05)after treatment than before treatment.ConclusionAfter the comparision before and after treatment of two groups in the TCM symptom integral,Kupperman symptom integral,MRS(?)score,It was shown that Acupoint Application with the function of Nourishing yin and Smoothing the liver could effectively improve the perimenopausal syndrome during the endocrine therapy period of breast cancer,At the same time it control in safe range on the sex hormone level before and after treatment.The treatment of perimenopausal syndrome in the endocrine therapy period of breast cancer is safe.This therapy is convenient and has no serious adverse reactions.So it is worthy of further application in clinical practice.
