ObjectivesThis research is mainly investigation the incidence rate cardiacpatients who are anxiety and depression before operation,and analysis therelated factors to regulate the rate of anxiety and depression, and reduce thenumber in-patients days, improve the patients quality of prognosis life ofpatients,so that it could provide the guidance and helpful for clinical nursingwork.MethodsWe select100patients from the hospital of our school during Januaryto June in2011operation in cardiovascular surgery clinic as our researchobject,who prepared for the cardiac, we research the100patients throughSelf-Rating Anxiety Scale and Self-rating Depression Scale created byprofessor zung.To analysis the standard score of anxiety over50is definedas anxiety,position50~59divided into mild anxiety,60~69medium anxiety,greater than70serious anxiety,standard score of depression,is equal andgreater than53as depression,63~72medium depression, more than72severe depression.The research objects fill out the questionnaire in the first day and the day before operation after enter hospital.If the culture background of the objects isso low that they can’t understand the content of questionnaire, we couldprovide explanation in details for them to complete the work independent. Theevaluation is used to finished in10minutes. After above the researcher shouldcheck the result carefully. The objects have to rewrite the item whether existmiss out or choose two answers in the same question. All datas wereanalysised by using SPSS13.0software. All the quantitative data were showedby x s. The score of anxiety and depression between in the first day and theday before operation after enter in hospital were compared by T test. All theinfluential factors between in the two groups were used by X2test and Logisticregression analysis. Significant level was0.05, P0.05shows a statisticallysignificant difference.ResultsIn all of the100patients were admitted to the hospital, the first day ofanxiety was36%, and depression rate was32%; The day before the operationanxiety was48%, and depression rate was45%. All the influential factorsstatistical analysis, we found that except age gender and smoking factors allothers were statistically significant (P<0.05).ConclusionThe mean score of patient anxiety and depression were higher than theaverage of the normal. Which suggest that those patients present anxiety anddepression. With the approach of the surgery, the number of patients withanxiety and depression were increased and affected by many kinds of factors.Especially in the day before surgery, the score is higher. Considering thedifferent conditions of preoperation anxiety and depression, nursing staffshould make proper measures to prevent aggravating anxiety and depressionafter operation as well as promote the physical and mental health patients.
