Abstract/Summary:
Objective To understand the anxiety and depression situation of the hospitalized neonatal parents in the people’s hospital of xinjiang uygur autonomous region, and obtain the influencing factors through analyzing the relevant results,so as to arouse the attention of clinical medical staff and provide theoretical basis for formulating relevant preventive measures.Method Women and their spouses admitted to the people’s hospital of xinjiang uygur autonomous region from August 2019 to October 2019 were selected as the subjects of the survey, with a total of 151 patients(mother 74,father 77).By filling in the self-made questionnaire, the basic information of newborn, the questionnaire of related information of parents and the self-rating scale of anxiety and depression(all using the international common anxiety and depression scale),the anxiety and depression of the parents of the children were understood, and the correlation between anxiety and depression of the parents of the children and related factors was analyzed.Result The SAS and SDS scores of newborn parents were higher than the norm(professor Zung’s study on SAS and SDS results of 1158 normal people in China)scores(P < 0.05),among which 64(42.4%)had parents’ anxiety score ≥ 50 points, and 48(31.8%)had parents’ depression score ≥ 53 points. The related factors affecting the occurrence of anxiety and depression in the parents of newborn babies include delivery complications, unintended pregnancy, poor lactation, gestational hypertension, residence, monthly family income, payment method, and whether the newborn is a first child.Among the different factors related to the child, including whether the mother and baby are in the same room, the birth weight of the newborn, the age of day,the gestational age,the cost of hospitalization, the length of hospitalization, the hospital of birth, whether the newborn is resuscitated by asphyxia, and whether the newborn is on ventilator; After multiple linear regression analysis, the results showed that gestational age and hospitalization expenses were independent influencing factors for SAS of newborn parents, and residence, hospitalization expenses, asphyxia resuscitation and ventilator use were independent influencing factors for SDS of newborn parents. The top 3 causes of adverse emotions were sequelae of disease(43%),failure to visit(37.1%),and disease severity(37.1%).Conclusion 1.Parents of hospitalized newborn babies generally have a certain degree of anxiety and depression,so we should pay attention to the parents’ anxiety and depression while treating the children’s diseases.2.Strengthen prenatal examination, actively prevent and treat various pregnancy complications, and reduce the incidence of various pregnancy complications among newborn mothers;3.Pay attention to fully communicate with the parents of newborns who are seriously ill, stay in hospital for a long time and have many complications, and transfer them to the room with the mother and baby as soon as possible after the condition is stable,so as to relieve the anxiety and depression of the hospitalized parents;4.Pay attention to the reasonable increase of visit times and time while preventing cross-infection;4.We look forward to the introduction of relevant policies to better implement the reimbursement of hospitalization for newborn babies and reduce the financial pressure on their parents;5.It is necessary to cooperate with the departments of obstetrics and clinical psychology to identify those parents with mental disorders as early as possible and to give active treatment to minimize their adverse consequences.
