Objective: Malignant tumor is one of the most serious diseases, and becomes the main reason for the high death rate of urban residents in our country. With the development of the medical technology, medical model changes from the “biomedical mode” to “biology- psychology- social medical model”. We found that the malignant tumor patients often accompanied by negative psychological barriers, and depression, anxiety are the most common negative psychological barriers. So we conducted a survey among the Malignant tumor patients in Hebei Provincial Tumor Hospital to investigate the overall incidence of cancer-related depression, anxiety; related factors of depression, anxiety; relationship between cancer-related depression, anxiety and quality of life, to provide reference for clinical treatment.Method:1 Select 350 cases of advanced cancer patients who were treated in 6 major tumor hospitals of Hebei province(Fourth Hospital of Hebei Medical University, Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University, Hebei University Affiliated Hospital, Handan Central Hospital, Chinese People’s Liberation Army 285 Hospital, First Central Hospital of Baoding City) from 2014-02 to 2014-11. They were confirmed advanced cancer by pathological and radiological diagnosis and had no mental illness before.2 Collect demographic data and disease information of the 350 patients. All the subjects themselves completed the following questionnaires: SDS, SAS, QLQ-C30. In order to evaluate the occurrence related factors and life quality of cancer-related depression, anxiety.3 Statistical analysis: Using SPSS13.0 software, the frequency was used to describe the demographic characteristics of patients. Select 7 variables such as gender, age, culture level, etc. Use the single factor variance analysis methods to analyze the factors and the relationship between depression and anxiety. Using Logistic regression method to analyze the risk factors of cultural degree, informed level and the economic burden, etc. Binary classification variables are analyzed by t test or rank and inspection according to the normality and homoscedasticity. Use Spearman correlation analysis methods to analyze the degree of informed and the relevance of the depression, anxiety and depression related to the quality of life in the table. Standard test to P <0.05 is of significant difference, P >0.05 is of no statistical significant.Results:1 In 350 cases of data, the incidence rate of depression is 34.9%(122 cases), 8 cases of severe(> 72 points), 30 cases of medium(63-72 points), 84 cases of mild(53-62 points); the incidence rate of anxiety is 19.7%(69 cases), 2 cases of severe(> 70 points), 16 cases of medium(60-69 points), 51 cases of mild(50 to 59 points); and the incidence rate of depression associated with anxiety is 15.4%(54 cases), including all major depression and 50% of moderate depression are associated with a certain degree of anxiety.2 Analyze gender, age, cultural level, place of residence, pathogenic site, the economic burden and informed level as 7 grouping variables. The result show that: the cultural degree and economic burden have highly significant impact on the onset of depression and anxiety(P<0.05); and the gender, informed level have highly significant impact on the onset of depression(P<0.05), while have no significant impact on the onset of anxiety(P > 0.05); the age, residence and pathogenic site have no significant impact on the onset of depression and anxiety(P > 0.05).Informed level and economic burden are the independent risk factors for the onset of depression(P = 0.032, P = 0.032); the onset of anxiety has no independent risk factors. The incidence rate of the uninformed group and the partial informed group for the onset of depression are significantly higher than the totally informed group(P = 0.035, P = 0.035). And for the totally informed group, patients have highly significant impact on the onset of depression, anxiety in different stages(P = 0.001, P = 0.040).3 According to the date of general health, physical function, role function, emotional function, cognitive function, social function and various symptoms(with the exception of diarrhea, economic difficulties): the depression group issignificant different with the normal group(P<0.05), and the anxiety group isalso significant different with the normal group(P<0.05).Overall health, physical function, emotional function, cognitive function, social function have shown negatively correlated with depression. Nausea andvomiting, pain, loss of appetite were positively correlated with depression.Overall health, physical function, emotional function, cognitive function, social function have shown negatively correlated with anxiety. Fatigue, pain, nsomnia, loss of appetite, constipation were positively correlated withanxiety.Conclusion:1 The incidence rate of cancer-related depression, anxiety is higher in this research, and most of them are mild and moderate cases.2 Gender, educational level, economic burden, informed level have asignificant impact on cancer-related depression. The informed level andeconomic burden are the independent risk factors for the onset of depression.Educational level, economic burden have a significant impact oncancer-related anxiety.3 Cancer-related depression, anxiety was significantly related to thequality of malignant tumors patients’ life.
