Objective:Study on the effect of Modified Wu Bei Zi Decoction on damp-heat pouring downward syndrome of mixed hemorrhoid postoperative patients on wounds pain, edema, wound secretion pH value and wounds healing. Methods:Randomly divide60subjects into treatment group and control group, those who met the inclusion criteria. On the basis of the same preoperative and postoperative treatment, the treatment group started the fumigation bath treatment with Modified Wu Bei Zi Decoction two days after operation. For the control group, started the fumigation bath treatment with1:5000potassium permanganate solution. Compare of pain, edema and wound secretion pH of two groups on the fifth, eighth and fourteenth day after operation, and compare of the wound healing time of two groups. Results:The result of completion of the study cases were60cases, the treatment group (N=30) and the control group (N=30).Two groups of patients’sex, age, course of disease, the numbers of hemorrhoids, wound pain, edema, wound secretions PH value before treatment such as a balanced comparison, no statistically difference between the two groups agreed baseline. The two groups were comparable. The results analyzed as follows:(1)Wound pain, edema:On the fifth, eighth day after operation, there were significant differences between the two groups in wound pain, edema(P (0.05), the treatment group was better than the control group; on the fourteenth day after operation, there was no significant difference between the two groups in wound pain, edema(P)0.05);(2)Wound secretion pH value:On the fifth, eighth and fourteenth day after operation, there were significant differences between the two groups in wound secretion pH value (P <0.05), the treatment group was better than the control group;(3) Total efficacy and wound healing time:The total clinical efficacy of the treatment group was100%, and the control group was96.67%, there was no statistically significant difference of two groups in total efficacy (P>0.05).The average wound healing time of the treatment group was11.87days, and the control group was14.50days. The average wound healing time of the two groups was statistically significant difference (P<0.05), the treatment group was shorter than the control group;(4) Adverse reaction:There is no obvious adverse reaction in the treatment. Conclusion:Modified Wu Bei Zi Decoction external fumigation and washing treatment intent for the Postoperative Wound Healing of Downward Flow Damp-heat Mixed Hemorrhoid, effective in the relief of postoperative pain, edema, reduce postoperative wound secretion pH value, shortening wound healing time, thereby promoting wound healing. There was no adverse reaction in the treatment, which indicates it is a safe and effective external fumigation and washing prescription.
