Objective:Compared with routine acupuncture treatment, and clinical treatment of acupuncture with acupoint catgut embedding therapy in treatment of cervical vertebral artery disease. The total efficiency of the clinical symptoms of the quantitative score, and before and after treatment TCD indicators to judge the efficacy of reference, according to the differences in efficacy of the two groups of patients after treatment, to explore acupuncture with acupoint catgut implantation in the treatment of vertebral artery type of cervicalprinciples, advantages and clinical significance. In order to provide a more optimal treatment program for the majority of patients to the clinic. Methods:The total number of cases to60cases, all patients admitted to outpatient and inpatient department of Hubei Province Chinese Medicine Hospital of Acupuncture. All patients meet the diagnostic criteria of this study and the inclusion criteria and were randomly divided into treatment group (acupuncture with catgut embedding group) of30cases and the control group (normal acupuncture group)30cases. The treatment group was treated with acupuncture plus acupoint catgut embedding therapy. The acupuncture selects the acupoints of Fengchi,Baihui,Dazhui,Tianzhu and Jingjiaji. Specific method of operation:Fengchi to enable patients to bow,0.8-inch needle toward the tip of the nose direction; Baihui along the scalp penetrate1inch; Dazhui obliquely into the needle of0.5to1inch; Tianzhu piercing the0.5to0.8inches; Jingjiaji are piercing the needle1inch. Bilateral take the reinforcing-reducing, every time the needle for half an hour. Once a day, six times a course, a course after the rest day, a total of four courses. Catgut embedding therapy selection bilateral Taichong Point, every two weeks catgut embedding a two weeks as a course, a total of two courses. The control group only treated with acupuncture, selected the acupoints, acupuncture methods of operation, number of courses are the same as the treatment group. Finally, the total efficiency, quantitative score of clinical symptoms before and after treatment TCD in the index as a reference to judge the efficacy of treatment, compared to two groups of patients. Results:The total effective rate was96.7%, however, the control group was90%. Calculated(P<0.05), indicating a statistically significant difference between the two sets of data. The efficacy of the treatment group than the control group. Patients were symptom score compared to before receiving treatment,P>0.05, indicating grouping, the two groups were comparable condition. Post-treatment score compared(P<0.05), the efficacy of the treatment group than the control group. The two groups of patients treated before TCD indicators (P>0.05), the description of the grouping, the two groups were comparable condition. After treatment of the indicators compared(P<0.05), the efficacy of the treatment group than the control group. Conclusion:Comparison of total efficiency, the quantitative score of clinical symptoms and TCD indicators, the treatment group than the control group, indicating that acupuncture combined with acupoint catgut embedding therapy cervical vertebral artery disease is more effective than conventional acupuncture. The immediate effect of both acupuncture can play to the maximum, can take advantage of the sustained and effective stimulus embedding therapy on the acupoints, so as to maintain a sense of lingering soft needle to improve the clinical efficacy, it is worth promoting.
