Clinical Research Of Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy With Acupoint Catgut Embedding Therapy

Objective:To observe therapeutic effect of acupoint catgut embedding therapy and evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness by routine acupuncture therapy with clinical curative effect of cervical spondylosis of nerve root type, and for acupoint catgut embedding therapy for treatment of nerve root type cervical spondylosis clinical development and extension to provide a basis.Methods:Nerve root type cervical spondylosis patients were randomly divided into two groups of 60 cases. Divided into acupoint catgut embedding group, control group, compared the efficacy of two groups were different method for treating this disease. Acupoint catgut embedding group once a week, two times as a course of treatment, continuous treatment of two courses and routine acupuncture group treated once a day, Lianzhi five days rest for two days, the treatment of ten times as a course of treatment, continuous treatment for two courses. Two groups of patients were in before treatment and after treatment, a course of treatment and treatment, and followed up a month after the end of treatment, symptoms and signs, and comprehensive assessment of pain according to assess statistical analysis, to evaluate the curative effect of acupoint catgut embedding therapy for treatment of nerve root type cervical spondylosis.Results:1. Comparing the overall effects of the two groups, catgut embedding group total effective rate was 93.33%, total effective rate was 83.33% higher than that of control group. After the first course of treatment, the second course of treatment, acupuncture points in the same group were in pain rating index (PRI) of evaluation, index of visual simulation (VAS) grading evaluation method, present pain intensity (PPI) assessment points based on, the patients symptoms than before with improved significantly (P< 0.05).2. After the end of treatment, two groups in the choice of positive items, PRI sensory points, total PRI, vas assessment points, independent samples t test show that were statistically significant (P< 0.05) acupoint catgut implantation group effect is better than that of routine acupuncture group. The two groups of patients before and after treatment of the short form McGill Pain Questionnaire score of paired samples t test. The results showed that the differences were statistically significant, according to the scores of symptoms and signs were significantly increased, indicating that the two methods of treatment can improve symptoms and functions of patients, two groups has obvious curative effect. After the two groups of patients with the first course of treatment and after treatment of simple McGill Pain Questionnaire score were independent samples t test. Results showed that after the first course of P= 0.710>0.05, the difference was not statistically significant, after treatment (P= 0.03), the difference is statistically significant (P< 0.05), showed that the two groups can be compared, acupoint catgut embedding group score decreased significantly in routine electroacupuncture group that its long-term curative effect is better than that of routine acupuncture group.3. Before and after treatment in two groups of 3 Tanaka Yasushi long cervical spondylosis symptoms and functional assessment scale observation points. The two groups of patients before treatment and treatment after Tanaka Jing Long cervical spondylosis symptoms and functional evaluation weight scores were analyzed by paired samples t test. The results showed that the differences were statistically significant, according to the scores of symptoms and signs were significantly increased, indicating that the two methods of treatment can improve symptoms and functions of patients, two groups has obvious curative effect. After the end of two groups of patients with the first course of treatment and after treatment Tianzhong Jing Long cervical spondylosis symptoms and functional evaluation of volume table of integrals of the independent sample t-test. The results showed that after the first course of P= 0.493> 0.05, no statistically significant differences, after treatment (P= 0.03), the difference is statistically significant (P< 0.05), showed that the two groups can be compared, acupoint catgut embedding group integral decline after the end of treatment significantly in routine electroacupuncture group that after the end of treatment the curative effect is more obvious than routine acupuncture group.Conclusion:1. Catgut embedding therapy for treatment of nerve root type cervical spondylosis has exact curative effect, and with its curative effect is lasting, simple operation, small trauma, treatment times less worthy of further promotion and development.2. Acupoint catgut embedding for treatment of nerve root type cervical spondylosis method and conventional acupuncture treatment can significantly improve the clinical symptoms and signs of nerve root type cervical spondylosis, acupoint catgut embedding group on the scores of clinical symptoms and signs of treatment effect is better than that of routine acupuncture group. After treatment, the two groups can effectively relieve pain and improve symptoms and signs. After a course of treatment, the control group can play an analgesic effect, but the curative effect is repeated after second courses of treatment. Acupoint catgut embedding group after two courses of analgesic effect is good and the effect is more stable, can obviously improve the nerve root type cervical spondylosis caused symptoms and signs.
