Objective: Observation on treatment of intractable facial paralysis by meridianneeding and explore its action mechanism, as well as the effective management o tackleclinical problems.Methods: We selected60cases of intractable facial paralysis patients, dividedrandomly into treatment group and control group,given the facial nerve function evaluationand social association score.To observe the treatment and the disease on the patients bodyand mind effects were observed,The treatment group were treated by meridian needing,the control group was given conventional acupuncture,5courses of treatment is given byscoring observation.Results: The total effective rate in treatment group is90%, the control group totaleffective rate is73.33%,the treatment group is better than the control group (P <0.05).Patients with facial nerve function evaluation and social evaluation of integralintegral improvement compared to the control group (P <0.05).Conclusion: Meridian needing treatment of intractable facial paralysis is one of theeffective methods.According to the guidance of TCM basic theory,AccordingtoQi-Boosting and Collateral-Dredging and Blood-Activating on therapeutic principle,combined with local treatment and holistic therapy.On the improvement of facialsymptoms and patients have obvious curative effect on social intercourse,as well as safetyand no adverse effect.
