The Clinical Study On The Effect Of Zhixianankun Decoction In Treating The Kidney Deficiency On Yin And Yang Of Peripheral Menopausal Syndrome (PMS)

Objective：To observe the clinical therapeutical effect of ZhiXianAnKun Decoction（ZXAKD）in treating the kidney deficiency on yin and yang of PMS and Preliminaryresearch the mechanism of its action．Method：60patients with PMS were divided into two groups at random：the testgrou（p30cases，treated with ZXAKD）and the control grou（p30cases，treated with Jiarongtablets）．Before and after treatment，observe the improvement on the clinical symptoms，physical signs and determine the changes of E2，FSH，LH，β-EP，NE，5-HT，BGP，CT，PTH．The differences between the two groups are observed．Result：The markedly clinically effective rate is66.67%in the test group，and in thecontrol group it is26.67%；the total clinically effective rate is96.67%in the test group andit is76.67%in the control group．The difference between the two groups is significant（P＜0.05）．The markedly clinically effective rate of TCM is63.33%in the test group，and inthe control group it is47.06%；the total effective rate of TCM syndrome is96.67%in thetest group and it is80.00%in the control group．The difference between the two groups issignificant（P＜0.01）．After the treatment，both the Kupperman points and the TCMsymptom scores of the treat group and control group are lowered．The differences aresignificant before and after treatment（P＜0.01）．The differences between the two groupsare significant（P＜0.01）．After the treatment，E2is raised and FSH，LH are lowered（P＜0.01），β-EP is elevated and NE，5-HT are reduced（P＜0.01），BGP，CT were elevated， PTH was reduced（P＜0.01）．Compared with the control group，there are significantdifferences in all the observed indexes．Conclusion：The ZhiXianAnKun Decoction has satisfactory therapeutic effecton，the，deficiency，of，Kidney-Yin，and，Kidney-Yang，of，PMS．The，mechanism，might， be， related，to， regulate， the， function of the， Hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian，Axis，regulate the，function，of，neurotransmitter and improve bone metabolism，etc．...
