The Clinicai Observation Of Treating Metabolic Disorders For Peripheral Menopause Women With Kun An Decoction

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and the impact of Kun an decoction on the serum level of hormone(FSH,LH,E2),splasma lipid(TC,TG,HDL,LDL),adrenocorticotrophic hormone(ACTH)and cortisol(CORT)for the contained patients according to standards of peripheral menopause syndrome(PMS)in deficiency of both kidney yin and kidney yang,provide clinical evidence for traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)treatment of PMS,improve the quality of life and delay senescence.Methods: Follow the method itself controlled clinical study,30 contained patients of meeting with the standards of PMS in deficiency of both kidney yin and kidney yang,giving Kun an decoction,2 times a day,each 1 bag(200ml),a course of 3 months.Observe the effect of Kun an decoction on clinical symptoms and clinical syndrome of Chinese medicine,the effect of FSH,LH,E2,TC,TG,HDL,LDL,ACTH and CORT for included patients before and after treatment.Results:(1)According to the curative effect of the clinical symptoms of patients,healing in 5cases,9cases were markedly effective,effective 15 cases,ineffective in 1 cases,the total effective rate was 96.67%.(2)Clinical symptom scores and Kupperman scores after treatment are more significantly lower than before,which indicate to have statistically significant(P <0.05).(3)the serum FSH levels decreased significantly after treatment than before,whose difference has statistics significance(P <0.05);the serum E2 levels increase and LH levels have shown a decreasing trend,but compared with before treatment,which both indicate to have no statistically significant(P> 0.05).(4)The serum TG,LDL,TC levels of patients after treatment than before descend,HDL levels fter treatment than before increased,which all indicate to have statistically significant(P <0.05).(5)The serum ACTH and CORT levels increase greatly compared with before treating,which indicate to have statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusions:(1)Kun an decoction can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of peripheral menopause women(2)Kun An decoction can improve lipid metabolism of peripheral menopause women and reduce the serum ACTH and CORT levels,which possibly reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease(CVD).
