The Clinical Study Of Staging Acupuncture Therapy On Bells Palsy

Objective:This research based on the Chinese medicine theory, use the staging Acupuncture mathod on Bell’s palsy and through the randomized controlled trial and randomized trial for clinical case, to carry out curative effect observation and discuss staging Acupuncture’s clinical efficacy, providing ways and standards for reference.Methods:All cases were selected in Wuhan Chinese medicine hospital between September2011-March2012which were all conform to selected standards.They were randomly divided into two groups, one of them was acupuncturing groups which including20clinical cases, according to the course of disease they can be divided into acute period,recovery period and sequela period. Except internal medicine care we respectively adopt shallow needling, electric needling and penetration needling, after the routine disinfection of skin, we use Guizhou Andy brand acupuncture needles whose specifications are0.25×50mm to acupuncture corresponding acupoint, one time a day and after five times in a row once a week there is a break of two days,15times is a course of treatment and have to continuously for two courses. No acupuncturing groups just be given basic internal medicine care. Acupuncturing groups and no acupuncturing groups showed no significant difference in sex,age,course and severity degree (P>0.05)After four weeks we use the House-Brackmann Facial nerve grading standard (abbreviated H-B standard) to evaluate the curative effect. Results:Acupuncturing groups’s score before and after treatment respectively is14.33±3.79,1.43±3.23contrast no acupuncturing groups respectively is13.93±3.83,3.97±4.88. The same group before treatment and after four weeks treatment has extremely significant difference. After the four weeks treatment, there’re significant difference between acupuncturing groups and no acupuncturing groups (P<0.05)Conclusion:1.Staging acupuncture treatment is effective treatment on Bell’s palsy.2.The curative effect of staging acupuncturing groups is superior to the control group.Staging Acupuncture in combination with basic internal medical treatment can significantly improve symptoms, signs and improve the clinical cure rate and efficacy rate,except obvious curative effect, it can also shorten the course of disease.It’s worthy of clinical application.
